Switzerland’s participation in the 2019 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles was crowned with 7 Grand Gold Medals. Jean-Daniel Coeytaux’s Chasselas Grand Cru obtained the highest score of all Swiss wines and was thus awarded the Revelation trophy for Switzerland. In fact, most of Switzerland’s medals in 2019 were awarded to the country’s iconic Chasselas wines. The seven winners with the highest accolades also feature wines from the native varieties Cornalin and Petite Arvine.
